Pros

This cable is shielded and has ferrite on the cable. The torrid chokes on this cable make all the difference. Ferrites add impedance to the shield of the cables, the shield absorbds rfi and keeps it out of thejdata cables.

Tripp-lite cable works flawlessly. Arrived faster than expected. Glitches & strange behavior were eliminated.

Cons

All usb ports are inoperable. Using it with a yaesu hf rig, usb immediately craps on tx. They not only did not have a ferrite on them, they are very lightweight and feel cheap.

The problem that needed to be remedied was produced by an antenna about 20 feet from my home radiating 1500 watts.
