Pros
The fit and finish of the device is excellent, as is the performance. White plastic looks sharp paired with the official rpi red and white case.
Tripp-lite sata to usb adapter is just amazing. I have an internal dvd/bd drive that i'm tinkering with today. Managed to retrieve old files and photos to put on my current computer.
Mine is a maxton with a 3. Volts. It uses two the first one has to be plugged in the adapter (where it takes the 12 volts to work properly) the second is the one that sends and receives information, which is the usb connector.
Cons
I suspect the device that connects to the power supply cable is defective. Still no luck recognizing any hard drive attached to this adapter.
