    While win10 did recognize it the plotting software i use did not therefore it was of no use to me

    I would give it five stars if tripplite made the rj45 plug with a tab protector to protect my investment from the most likely failure scenario of the tab catching on something in my bag and snapping it off

    Got a new computer that did not have a serial port so i got this to convert the serial to usb

    Install the driver see which com port got assigned and you’re off and running

    Will probably take you longer to figure out the correct serial port communications settings of the device you’re connecting to than it does to set this up but that’s a whole different issue
