I have no way of confirming that this unit is in fact aptx compliant but i have to reason to suspect that it isnt

There are only 3 little niggles that i would suggest to the development team to rectify1 when in receiving from the laptop there are frequent cutouts in the signal

Since i can stream music seamlessly via bluetooth from my laptop to my pure evoke f3 radio and other devices i deduce that this is a glitch in this unit

Ive owned several bluetooth receivers and had complaints small ones with each one like loud noises for volume anoying sounds when the battery is low humongous play button that could be accidentaly hit and double hit that button and it automatically calls the last person you called

Beware if you want to use two headphones with the wonderful aptx low latency simultaneously you should buy the trond btduo ii instead because the trond btduo s downgrades to sbc whenever you connect it to two phones at the same time
