Pros

The flexible neck means you can direct the light anywhere. The dimming is terrific, as is the ability to change the color of the light. It's really great and dimmable, but i like warm light at night.

The neck is long and quite flexible, but stays in position where i put it. The base is heavy enough that my cats do not knock it over. The only downside is that the base isn't weighted down enough.

It has a wide range of brightness adjustability. This model has seven settings. I wish it had a brighter setting and the base could be more sturdy.

Cons

The bulb is not replaceable so you essentially are purchasing a very short-term product. The plastic was made to be biodegradeable, and it is degrading too soon.

Dimming feature is probably not worth the added cost as you want a reading light to be max bright. Slider adjustment is awkward and imprecise, and from lowest to highest setting doesn't seem much different. Regardless of which color setting i choose, ... Read More
