Pros & Cons
Pros
Assembly is very easy and intuitive. Base is not thick but is extremely weighty and sturdy.
Trond halo x floor lamp is perhaps the first lamp which doesn’t use the mechanical switch. Not a deal-breaker though. Works with my wifi connected power plug.
They are both great. Much happier with this taller model. Happy with my purchase. Very satisfied with this unit.
Cons
The overall appearance is minimalistic. It's not elegant or decorative. It flashes when plugged into any dimmer switch. If you need 4000+ lumens, this is not the lamp for you.
One thing i don't like is that it is powered by a wall transformer that will consume some minimal power even when the lamp is off. Repackaging it for returning is just about impossible.
Highlights
Quality
Due to clever design the assembly was quick and easy.
Easy to assemble and it is bright for the living room.
We basically didn’t turn it off for the near three years we had it and it just went out yesterday.
As of march 2024, it's begun to flicker constantly to the point where it's not longer worth using.
Price
I am giving it 4 stars because of the lack of brightness and the area it covers compared to cost.
This lamp is definitely worth the money.
The price point it a little high for my current circumstances otherwise i would have definitely bought it again.
I got it on sale for $20 off the usual price, i don’t think i’d pay full price.
Packaging/appearance
Assembling is really easy, it was packed very well, and the touch controls are great!
Competitiveness
The 3000k "color" is quite similar to an old incandescent lamp, which is what i wanted so as to match my other lamps.
The maximum brightness is probably similar to a 250 watt bulb and i have it turned down a notch or two.

One product suggestion though the adapter that plugs in the wall is really tall and if youre using it with a regular wall switch to turn on and off the adapter will block your lower outlet
