I and pleased with the trond retractable extension cord power strip. I also use a 17-inch suitcase so space is a premium commodity. It's small and compact, nice and neat to pack and take along when you travel.

The retractable cord is 5 feet long - not too long but not too short. The cable is a bit thinner to accommodate the retract mechanism. Best cable management, because with this cord there isn't much cable to manage, hehehe!

It works great and helps keep excess cord from cluttering your floor. The build quality is great and feels like a steal for the price. We highly recommend this power strip.

Cons

The flaw is when you wind it up for stowage, and indeed the way it ships, the plug on the end is stowed in one of the sockets. That's good for avoiding the proverbial loose end, but it creates a strain point in the cable right near the plug.
