Pros

The a3 does it all and has more moisture wicking padding in the helmet. Includes 3 extra sweat bands and extra liner. They also come with extra set of mips padding.

As a bald man i am very particular about areas that rub or aren't comfortable. This helmet is lightweight and fits perfect. Comfortable, light weight and great protection.

Fit is perfect and the adjustment dial works smoothly in both directions. As advertised, it fits very snug and comfortably.

The ratchet mech is easy to use and snugs it up without pinching. The adjustable visor is cool, although i wish the visor went lower. The buckle for the chin strap is very easy the use with gloves on.

Sits lower than my giro on the back of my head and will give me more protection. My head stays well ventilated in different conditions. Rated for head protection by all the toughest agencies.

Cons

Cost $17 to fix it. The replacement is there but the broken piece is stock inside.

Very high in the price range but worth every penny.

Totally worth the extra cost, hands down.

Competitiveness

I tried the previous version of this helmet on at rei and found the fit to be incredible.

They are all about the braaaaap at tld and i like that as well.

This is one of the few vendors that still send stickers with their gear.

I've had good luck with tld products and this helmet is no different.
