Pros

This is much more protective than regular vpd foam. Protect the priceless parts a little but is confidence boosting to have something there. Shock doctor has great products and tld chose well its co-branding partner!

Fits like regular under shorts but with hefty protection. Very satisfied with these shorts.

The tailbone is a thicker hard shell covered pad. The pads are a little thicker looking in person to me than what it looks like in the pic. The padding offers serious protection in the event of a fall.

The pants are somewhat more restrictive than ordinary bike pants or pants with lesser padding. The lower leg has that sticky silicone strip to help prevent them from lifting up the thigh. They are just as comfortable as regular bike pants.
