I have read almost everyone of terry pratchett books but as i started in my late teens i steered away from his children’s books

So it is with a desperate need to read new pratchett material that i picked up a copy of truckers in a local charity shop and i am sorry to say that i am disappointed in myself for waiting so long to read this series

All the hallmarks of a practchett novel are here only in what i would called a watereddown form obviously because of the age that his book is intended for

How societal norms should be challenged such as in one example female nomes are told that they shouldn’t read because it will cause their heads to explode

Or how masklin the main character with no idea of politics or the political structure of the store becries the fact that when nomes aren’t facing strife they end up arguing and fighting amongst themselves
