Pros
Geo trumpers limes has a slight off-smell mixed in with the lime smell. The 1805 and apsley are my favorite scents. The scent is wonderful— clean and light, good for men who like a subtle scent.
Truefitt & hill shaving cream softens the beard, lubricates and moisturizes the skin. The cream helps moisturize the face and head as well as the beard. The close shave reduces irritation and razor burn.
It is awesome. It works fabtastic. They want you happy! That’s what this product is, happiness in a jar.
Excellent fragrance though and excellent lathering. Great lather that lasts without having to reapply.
Follow up with a scented shave cream. My girlfriend often complements the way that i smell after shaving.
Cons

Smells like gramma’s perfume. The lime scent is kind of non-existent. The scent is not in any way that of sandalwood.

Having been using this shaving cream for more than 10 years, i am satisfied with this product.
All of the scents are light but distinct and the quality of the shave is never an issue.
I suggest you use their a couple of drops of their shaving oil before lathering you face with the shaving cream.

Packaging/appearance
The packaging is beautiful, the scent is luxurious and most importantly it gives him an incredibly close shave.
Competitiveness
I've tried several shaving creams & soaps and have been consistently using tobs avocado almost exclusively for over a decade.
It might seem expensive, but i find it lasts longer than competing products and is a good value in the long run.
While not strictly necessary, i use t&h's pre-shave oil (just a few drops!
