Pros & Cons
Pros
This is a tool that you need if you have tapered axle drums like on my 52 studebaker. Greased it up, bolted it on and put it under tension. Needed for most tapered hubs.
Cons
Problem with the tool is that when hammering on the outer bar, the disc slips inside the 3 arms and it was hard to get it to actually get the threaded rod to advance and pull the hubs off. Main bolt threads self-damaged when taking off 2nd rear drum o... Read More
Highlights
Quality
Great product, built tough, and does a great job.
Hub puller is well made and was just what i needed.
The hub had not been off since purchasing it in 1999 and was rusted on the shaft.
Without a tool like this it is near impossible to remove it without damaging the hub, axle shaft, or yourself.
Price
For less than $100, this tools saved many hours of work and possible hundreds of dollars in damaged rare parts.
Excellent buy in lew of brand name at twice the price!
I was already into fixing mode and didn't want to wait 3 - 4 days from other websites in a cheaper price.
A lot of money spent for a few minutes use
Shipping
They immediately took the return and followed up with an email to check if there were any problems with the item, service, etc.
Competitiveness
Used this to get an axle out of my 14 porsche panamera when no other tool would work.
Their concern and customer service is what sets this company apart from their competitors.
Autozone and other chain stores have pullers to rent, but they're not big enough to fit over the large hub on this old ford of mine.
