The psx-ar auto reverses appear to survived. I expect that will the wall wart, the wart gave a path to earth ground allowing the lightning to occur. It has the option of using a 9-volt battery, which is helpful when reaching more distant areas.

But the static grass does go everywhere besides where you want it but nothing a little vacuuming wont clean up
