Pros & Cons
Pros
Worked extremely well on my bambu x1c. Used textured pei, no glue, bed temp 55c. The cardboard roll seems to work ok on my bambu ams lite.
The colors are pretty and the filament is packaged well. It's my favorite rainbow filament and my customers love it. There's a subtle transition from the blue to green, and it’s just starting to turn amber at the end - not quite the rainbow i was plan... Read More
The only negative is that the filament is higher than average but it's the only filament other than prusa filament that i use. The layer adhesion is better that most of the silk pla i have used.
Cons
The filament breaks during the printing process. Can't use it in ams. When it prints well it’s nice but not worth it to me use again.
Comes on thin cardboard spool not plastic as pictured. This filament gets very brittle over time. Please fix the cardboard spools.
The color is several shades darker than the picture. It's completely opaque with very little'sheen' calling this a rainbow is a lie.
Highlights
Quality
Worked very well with my ender 3 v3 se, got great prints with no problems.
No issues with clogging up my printer like some glow in the dark filament can and super strong.
First of all, i dried the filament for at least 6 hours before ever using it.
I was not happy and continue to question whether i am going to purchase filament from this company again unless they return to ... Read More
Price
Great filament decent price and always good results.
I was apprehensive about paying such a steep price for it, then i saw they had a coupon for 20% off.
Not bad for the price, but there's better.
Shipping
Also super fast delivery even ahead of schedule.
Packaging/appearance
I've printed quite a few more items, including a very large dice tower, and it looks spectacular!
My first real print was the fully articulated dragon (thingiverse number 5753936) shown in the photo.
The filament looks reddish gold but it prints out orange, silky orange.
My filament came in a plastic reel, not cardboard like some reviewers complained about.
Competitiveness
This is my go to brand for silk filaments.
Layer adhesion is better that most of the silk pla i have used.
The only negative is that the filament is higher than average but it's the only filament other than prusa filament that i use.

Just don’t buy it and expect a full rainbow on smaller objects

The color doesn’t change as quickly as it appears to on the product photos so many look like one solid color but the shades blend pretty nicely and a bigger print would make the transition more obvious
