Pros
This futon is very comfortable as a couch. When a quest arrives, they have a comfortable sturdy bed to sleep on. The mattress is comfortable for both sitting and sleeping.
Easy to assemble. Great instruction. Easy to clean and have help up very well with many different renters.
Very nice looking futon. Exactly as pictured and described. Yes, the frame is sort of a grey color as other reviewers said.
This futon is very sturdy. The wood is high quality and the craftsmanship top-notch. Wood is of good quality and has a pleasant scent.
Product was shipped fedex and delivered in 3 packages. Arrived quicker than expected. Excellent packaging as well.
Cons
It's so difficult to make this go from bed to futon couch it’s not worth the money.

Only defect found was one of the boards had no inserts in the drilled holes.

The full-size version i ordered is more comfortable than the bed he had in his dorm room.
All in all it’s pretty decent but def shouldn’t have been a $500 purchase.

Fortunately i was able to pick up similar hardware at home depot to make it work since i didnt care to call customer service for a single bolt and nut

I love the futon overall but find it extremely difficult to bring it back upright from the sleeping position

For those of you who may be similarly inclined note that part 7 has to go in a certain way so the rubber stoppers are toward the front spreader bar or it will not stay in place as a lounger or couch

I do find it is very hard to open and close it without the assistance of another person
