You can feel it as you move your hand across the surface but its not so rough that youll even notice with the mouse

It is about one half the thickness of your standard 14 inch neoprene mousepad while being almost 7 inches inches wider than a standard 7x9 inch mouse pad

The turtle beach logo is large across the top it is more cranberry than the red in the picture but it looks great
