However it is not part of the ice line and doesnt advertise itself as part of turtle waxs shield system where the products supposedly boost each other or at least dont downgrade each other

Ice detailer is part of the shield family and as such it shouldnt degrade a base coat of ice seal n shine or ice spray wax ice spray wax in the improved durability formula is nipping on the heels of ice seal n shine as a base coat but turtle wax actually recommends ice spray wax as a finishing top coat for ice seal n shine

In my experience ice detailer is a little thinner than ice spray wax possibly with more surfactant cleaner and more can be used to float away dirt without running into removal issues as sometimes occur with the thicker products like ice spray wax and ice seal n shine

If you intend to clay or something similar start with seal n shine then use ice spray wax inbetween car washes to detail
