My job we use tons of switches, all micro, or mini or what ever you call them,, they solder just fine, get a decent iron or not, you tin the connection fast (within 2 seconds ) unless you going thru hole, then tin your wire, put through hole, hit with flux or put alittle solder on your iron tip to transfer heat, and there you go,, nothing melted, no problems,, all good.  Read Less
