Pros
The top is a nice terry cloth with a thin waterproof but breathable polymer barrier. I have elderly pets who sometimes pee or * on my bed. That same baby is now a potty training kid and we have one to protect his new mattress.
This mattress protector fits great. I bought this september of 2018 when i bought a new mattress, it is january of 2024 and i am just now having to replace it. You should truly consider getting one!
L saunders mattress pad absorbs everything so nicely. Takes a while to wash and dry.
Cons
This is terrycloth who wants to lay on terry cloth that is so uncomfortable. This cover is not a zippered cover. It just wraps around top of the mattress.

Fits great , easy to clean , great quality.
The elastic band is nice and heavy and holds in place well.
The terrycloth makes it hard to detect under your fitted sheet, and it doesn't make "plastic" sounds when you are rolling over in bed.
It is not crinkly, nor does it generate excess heat, and if you didn’t see it being put on the mattress, you wouldn’t know it was there.

Have tried other companies options and they do nothing to prevent mattress damage.

When you wash them they soak up a lot of water
