The latex ones do not hold up to the pool water well and rip or gets stuck on itsself my son and daughter who are 5 years tried both the speedo and other brands of swim caps that are available in the local drug store
Both of my girls a swimming now so i have gone back and ordered several more just to make sure that i have replacements when they finally rip which i can say has not happened in over 8months of use
