In fact it is one of the better looking digital watches that i have ever seen although there are literally a few rough edges as i will explain shortly

The lcd viewing angles are comparable with those from the much more expensive casio pathfinder but the display is actually more readable because it is larger as are the corresponding digits

There are no markings on the watch or accompanying materials to indicate water resistance so we have to assume that it is not water resistant at all

The watch does have a case back gasket see below suggesting at least an attempt to keep out water

The case metal does not appear to be ferrousbased namely steel because case does not stick to a magnet
