The u700 boots in a heartbeat and it has a 128 gb solid state hard drive. It has more ssd than my other two computers. Ram and storage are good at 8/256.
Cons
Hdmi ports fail frequently. It fires up a few times before going through the blue screen again. For my use case, displaying videos at 4k 60hz, this device fails miserably.

The price was great, as it was a special and well within the budget i had.

The u700 is faster and has more ssd than my other two computers.
Packaging/appearance
The packaging was nicely done and nothing smashed, broke, or damaged upon delivery arrival.
It booted up and was quickly ready to put to work right out of the box with windows 10 pro preinstalled.
Competitiveness
Not a bit deal, but none the less not as convenient as the older minisforum pc's i have.
Minis forum has a line of small form-factor pcs that are well ventilated and comes fully loaded and ready to go.
It will not work with a nvme style ssd.
I could not get it working dual channel with 2x8gb sticks.

I also didnt want the crap s version of windows 10 which is barely half an operating system which some etailers sneak on a new machine

Anyway the version of windows 10 pro that came preinstalled on this machine was 1909 10

After seeing the orientation of the vesa mount and the position of plugs i dont like that it has no usb 3

At least 1 or 2 should be on the bottom based on this
