Overall we are super happy with the ubbi for our purpose and would easily recommend it over the diaper genie.

We've not found a suitable receptacle for them that we've been happy with.

I do wish the ubbi opening was a little larger and we would get one for her bathroom, too.

But this hamper looks so nice its worth anything extra it may have cost i would highly recommend.

Packaging/appearance

And, as a bonus, you can put stuff in these that you normally wouldn't in the dg (ie clothing tags, packaging, etc).

If you're debating between the two, pick the ubbi.
