The adoption and un-adoption process has too many gotchas. Doing factory resets on devices shouldn't lead to a device eol. An additional problem with a central unifi network controller is that it's a pain if that controller isn't available.

Only poe in, so do not expect to have poe out even if you choose to power it with non poe power adapter.
A psu cable would be nice if you don't have poe avaialbeother wise great product
Price
These are great switches, especially for the price.
If you are paying more than $29 each, $72 for 3 or, $120 for 5 you are getting ripped off.
So your options are very limited and mostly over-priced.
But at this price, it is a great buy.

Competitiveness
The particular flex mini switches are priced about 20% over the list, which is one of the best deals.
Most of the edge routers seem totally unavailable (i got one earlier, most of the edge switches aren't even shown on the website anymore).
I wanted to expand my network but found almost everything either unavailable or priced far above list by other vendors.
However, they have been plagued by supply chain issues - even more than other vendors, and even before the pandemic.

It does not allow powering other devices over poe but that is understandable

It also does not fully support all switch features but does support some layer 2 features such as port isolation storm control port mirroring multicast flow control jumbo frames and rate limiting

The vlan tagging is i believe not a completely implemented feature of if you need to do vlan tagging you may need to check on that as a feature

I can assign ports to certain networks give them names see them in the devices list see them in the network map etc
