It was doa, the problem with this model is a dumb device with no visual indication to what is going on inside. It seems to operate on the lan like always it just doesn't have any transmit range.

The reset button is hard to reach, and on the first one, broke into the device.

Logevity of unit is 2 years for one and only a month for current purchase.

Price

I wish these things were cheaper, but man they work well and can handle our crappy idaho hardcore weather swings.

Shipping

Amazon sent a replacement immediately, and i was able to get the new one configured properly with some online help from friends.

Was past return and vendor offered a replacement but with all the shipping and penalties it was not worth the bother to return.
