Packaging/appearance
I'm currently using 4 x eero 1st gens throughout my home and may try out the ubiquiti wap pros in the near future.
Competitiveness
Still - highly recommended; you cannot beat the features for the price.
While i like ubiquiti products, this device isn't for the average home user.
The vendor does work to fix them but some folks have a love/hate relationship with ubiquiti.
Despite what some, likely uninformed, reviews indicate, ubiquiti products are not cheap crap.

If you dont need any advanced features 60 seconds to complete a basic setup wizard are all that you need and from there it functions just like any consumer plugandplay router
