Pros
These are the nicest looking access points. They're pretty slick and not as obtrusive as the ufo models. The install looks so clean i can put it in my kitchen and no one minds. The hardware is really nice and discreet.
Two waps provide excellent coverage for the entire house, really good signal strength throughout. This product has both the 5ghz and 2. Ghz bands, unlike the earlier iw version. You're most actively moving wi-fi device is your cell phone.

Unifi software and the android app are great for setting what's on your network. Love the ubiquiti ecosystem for management including remotely with a cloud key.
Cons
This is really just for coverage of a single room. Beware before buying. My unit was returned to amazon. Had to send it back for a replacement.

I mounted this unit into the gang box and was thrilled with the results.
Keep in mind it cannot be powered by the ubiquiti passive poe proprietary standard ironically.

Packaging/appearance
So getting warm is not an issue for me as it is out of the way.
The setup lives up to the ubiquiti hype, rock solid with no restarts and no general weirdness from an over-taxed all in one router.
Competitiveness
I've always been a huge fan of ubiquiti products and had a single ap (uac-lite) for my home.
Note: these will work fine with no other ubiquiti products.
