Pros & Cons
Pros
My largest deployment handles up to 5 thousand users. It's not the fastest, and at this point it's getting old, but it's been running for 3. Years. I'm comfortable saying they have completely fulfilled their claims.
Ghz and 5ghz for both my main network, and my iot network. We have about 3500 sq ft of space on three levels with 10-15 devices accessing wifi. Wifi coverage is terrific and no outages since replacing the defective ap.
I have it setup so there is 2. Which makes it super scaleable if you have more than one. But it's worth the little more if you need it, vs. Other companies. For what you pay, and do not have to pay maintainence, that is pretty good support.
The output of this thing is pretty strong and what i did to make this thing last longer and at a cooler temperature to avoid frying it, is that i installed it at a lower location in my house closer to the floor. The only thing i don't appreciate from ... Read More
Cons
Apparently ubiquity's marketing scheme of using youtubers as third-party advertisers sells products, because the product sure doesn't sell products. Sending back second unit again at my expense to get my third unit in less than 1 year. Do yourself a f... Read More
From reading the blog, they have not commented at all. What a hassle and a disappointment. There was no product documentation or packaging to suggest any respect for my purchase.
Device cannot be adopted still after reset. When i tried to update firmware it keep giving me adaption fails error. It’s even worse when the ubiquiti mesh access point is added to the system.

The range is horrible. The places in my house that i used to be weaker spots are now total dead zones. If you're looking to put one ap for more than one room good luck with that the signal gets weak very quickly. I get stronger signal, but even worse ... Read More

But it's worth the "little more" if you need it, vs.
Packaging/appearance
The packaging was completely intact with no evidence of prior use/ownership/damage, and the hard-reset solution was pretty painless.

Works great in compare with other access points
Their overseas tech support is garbage, but thankfully their products more than make up for that.
