Pros & Cons
Cons
Buyer beware. Totally messed up the home network. It constantly disconnects and there is no cs support. Sent it all back. My advice, spend the money on real equipment, or get a decent simple inexpensive home router.
Highlights
Quality
Easy to install and has worked perfectly since i bought it
Great signal all around, and the whole main floor now has decent coverage.
I already had an ubiquity dream machine set up as my router, and as soon as i powered this ap on impaired seamlessly using the app.
I plugged this in basically right next to the tv, and now i’m streaming 4k with zero hiccups.
Price
Definitely worth the money if you want to increase your range.
The addition of this unit to my garage save me hundreds of dollars out working and expanding the wifi to the garage.
Shipping
I returned this because the wifi 6 version i had on back order arrived like 2 days after i got this one.
Competitiveness
Unlike the new wifi 6 version, this is probably the best extender unifi has created so far.
I looked at several options but none worked with unifi seamlessly.
Unifi is what i recommend more that any other brand.
