They are simple to setup and are rock solid.
The software is great and the unit works great as an nvr.
Major issues installing and probably not for a novices.
The hot swap hdd caddy’s are not wells designed.
Price
I bought mine from ubiquiti directly as some of the prices asked here on amazon are almost double of what ubiquiti store is asking.
Although the price is a little over msrp it wasn't too terrible like some other sellers.
Packaging/appearance
Unit works as expected, packaging was ok with some broken packaging to protect the unvr.
Worth a buy (new)this product should have a factory warranty due to it being new unused and unopened in original packaging.

It would not update out of the box to enable connection to the phone apps

I had to search through the ubiquiti forums for an obscure post where someone else had the same problem and had to update it via ssh manually
