The top metal gets hot quickly! It is a good heat source the 3 candles put out some heat. This makes the base reasonably clean of the leaked wax without alot of toil. No melted wax mess. Beeswax makes the most sense to me and i believe will be less me... Read More

Great for camping or emergency lighting. Ran all night helped with the condensation in my suv camping in 55 degree weather. Works on a table on the porch, on the coffee table if the power goes out.

Some reviewers complain about the quality, etcetera.

Save yourself some aggravation and just buy a couple single lanterns. I'm surprised amazon sells it.

Pleeeeeze take it back before someone really gets burnt. The problem with any non-vented propane heater, is that it adds a ton of moisture.

Wax slowly seeps from cracks around the metal pusher plates and goes everywhere. First night, two of the three vomited candle wax from one or more of the individual candle holders.

For safe and proper operation, clean this wax out of those cylinders and anywhere else that wax may have gotten.

Clean burning, windproof, beautiful, enough light to light up a small table but not so much as to be unpleasant.

Without trimmed wicks the flame is too high, burn time is shorter, lots of unburned wax on the base.

Well pump froze up this morning and i had no spare heater or extension cord to thaw it out.

Worth the price for this day alone in my book.

Just don't forget to get a box of candles to increase the overall cost-effectiveness.

Do yourself a favor and look for plumber's candles online and save yourself a ton of money.

Wish the candles were a little cheaper.
