The range is great too, if you're buying specifically for a drone. I'm sure these would be great for vr games and movie viewing too. Haven't flown drone with them on yet, just watched the video afterwards.

It is lightweight enough even for an 8 year old. The forehead and cheeks have very nice pads on them. It fits nicely on an adult head and on my 10 year old's head. They are light weight so you don't feel like your head is being weighed down.
