Once you plug in the battery the light goes off and will turn on when the battery is fully charged

The boats can go very far without losing connection to the remote when it starts going out of range you get a tone on the remote so you can bring it back in range while i never had the range indicator go off i steered this thing pretty far across the lake and got it to where i lost sight of it and needed to use my camera to zoom in to tell me which direction it was facing

One battery was defective and the vendor quickly replaced it

They run very fast and the controllers always signal when the batteries are weak and the boat should be retrieved
