Pros
The centrepiece will be the centrepiece of my sons collection. Prepare for sore fingers when you are done, but well worth it. The engineering aspects are very impressive.
Lots of tiny pieces, complete with dowel pins. Laser cut parts are fairly easy to remove and do not snap in to several pieces.
This is a worthwhile model that will occupy 8 hours of your life in assembly. I wish it walked a bit better and that the instructions had a bit of expository text. The instruction are fair with showing what needs to be done in what order.
Candle wax is the needed lubricant-rubber bands provide the energy. Lots of going back and forth with the key helps to distribute the wax and the horse becomes more limber. The rubber bands for the horse’s mane and tail are genius.
Cons
The design concept looks great and a lot of effort appears to have been made to implement a 'walking' horse, but implementing it in wood doesn't work out. The valve is difficult to assemble trying to fit the pieces according to the directions. Clearan... Read More

Not sure if its the wood or the cutting but some piece just dont want to come off the panel
