Pros

Great way to teach the kiddos the basics of how gears work. From the functioning v8, steering wheel, and front suspension to the four speed transmission (drive/reverse, high/low) like setting the roller bearings.

The vm-01 roadster is very nicely detailed. Liked the completeness of instructions and ease of assembly. Very difficult but in a good way.

Purchased for my dad during the quarantine. It lets me relaxe on the couch and half watch tv as i tinker away. Even more rewarding was my dads reaction to receiving it.

The quality of the pieces and accuracy of the laser cuts makes for a challenging and rewarding hobby.

Even with the liberal use of wax, my console shifter is inoperably stuck in neutral.

This was bought as a gift for a family member so i don't yet know how to review the product.

Shipping

I did break an important piece, contacted ugear customer service and got a replacement for nothing and that included shipping.

Packaging/appearance

The instruction are pretty clear (i'll give it a 9 out of 10) and the packaging is well organized.

The packaging is nice with a clear view of the pieces inside.

Also the pieces are harder to punch out from the sheets.

It's a gift and so has not been opened to review the contents.
