Pros
The reel isn't the nicest, but it isn't worst either. I have zero experience fishing but this rod was easy enough to set up with the help of youtube.
The pole seems very sturdy and the eyelets are also very sturdy. Since then have become an avid bass fisherman.
Cons
Many people love the pole and swear by it. That reel and rod combo is being returned. He isn't capable of returning, and it's 5 hours from me.
One of the reels has an issue with the bail release by way of turning the handle. Our grandsons could not release the bail in this manner and needed to manually release it with their hands. Going through a replacement hopefully it’s better.

This is a great combo for the price especially for people who are just now getting into fishing.
S, i had this rod before but i had the 3 piece, this so the 2 price and it’s perfect
For the price, i am told you cannot beat it.

I got the 6ft 6in rod so it was a 1 piece rod so i didn’t have any problems with the piece flying off after a few casts like other people did
