Pros
Perfect rod for small yellow perch to 3# largemouth bass to lake erie walleye. From ice fishing to muskie fishing and everything in between. Only complaint is the tang that juts out.
Cons
The bottom piece is not the same as what is pictured and the top is a completely different color! Would not recommend. It isnt flexible its too stiff and as it flexed a little it cracked. The advertised braid ready is a false statement.
The casting rod reel seat is too short for any of my reels (except for some children reels). I recieved the rod today, first it's not what the description says. How can amazon recommend a rod that doesn't fit the reel?

I like having a 7 ft quality fishing rod in a two-piece.

The shipping was awesome, and no damage on the rod.
You just have to wonder who is controlling their shipping.

At my wife's nagging (probably to get me out of her hair) i decided to suit up again.
Berkley makes a great rod for the price.

Update as i expected this rod was way too stiff for the kind of streamsmall pond fishing i did on my two month fishing expedition

I’ve searched for other fishing rods to upgrade from an ugly stik and i have yet to find one that is equal let alone better
