This device uses the standard kernel drivers in linux so it's plug and play without needing any additional drivers or software. The usb cable to plug it in is built into the unit itself, that ensures that a slower usb 2 cable isn't used by accident.

The reader gradually heats up the card and after the 5 minutes, the cfexpress card is almost too hot to touch. This totally defeats the purpose of supporting sdxc and cf cards. Potential fire hazard.
