No more plugging and unplugging of cable to phone. I have my adapter hooked to a switched (on/off with the key) usb charger jack in my car.
The music is quieter than on the fm radio. I have a 2800 watt amp and subwoofer and the sound quality is just as good as the regular aux connection. If there is a small amount of degradation of sound, it's minimal and not bothersome at all.

Personally i loved the thing when it worked when it would actually connect properly and when it didnt have interference from either existing channels or other drivers
