Disadvantages1 case warms up very quickly and gets hot so it could lead to ssd failure after a few months of use if used in high temperature environment not a problem for me since i use it at work with a controlled temperature of 20 ºc all year long2 could not configure directly on win 10 because the external ssd and enclosure did not appear on disk management and were only recognisable on device manager

Now i can use it in any system still havent tried xp

However there is a big air gap inside between the ssd and the cover so in effect the ssd is heat insulated inside

However i just copied 400 gb and the speed was at least not dropped
