It's very easy to install hdd/ssd in it, there is no need of screws. This drive is where my home directory is.

Usb-c is faster than earlier gen ports and works with the more common a to c if you don't have a c port on your computer. Fast enough to put an ssd in it to use with a ps5 for storing your ps4 games. Works with pc & macs. Big sur machines.

Tested with samsung 860 qvo, 1 tb. My application involves a 4t samsung ssd and a thunderbolt 3 bus. I have a 1-tb samsung evo 850 ssd in it. It both reads and writes buttery smooth. Samsung 860 pro.

Enclosure ejects itself spontaneously. It only connects to the computer at 5 gpbs speed. I wish they pointed that out in their exhausting descriptions.
