Pros

The cord is longer so i don't have to worry about people tripping over wires at the lib or at other public places. I have it plugged in the wall behind my desk. Lighter and more compact than the original.

Worked like a charm for lenovo u310. Worked great as a replacement for a lenovo thinkpad. Using it for my hubby's laptop. It is essential you get a replacement with the exact same specifications as the original.

Cons
