When you pick one of the 1 pound bags up, the bag disintegrates and the powder is pouring out. What justifies this exorbitant price?

Quality
Dissolves very quickly and descentegrated the dirt ring around my pool liner before i could even finish the treatment.
Since the shelf life for chlorine bleach is very short (6 months to a year), this is a perfect replacement.
At 7 drops per water gallon of chlorine bleach to disinfect - this is a huge amount of disinfecting ability.
Special note: this material can be extremely hazardous to work with and use.
Packaging/appearance
So one pack is roughly equivalent to 110 gallons of chlorine bleach at 1 teaspoon/gal.
Competitiveness
Better than clorox because clorox losers potency over time.
