If you're an experienced hiker or just a keen weekend walker this book is invaluable. The manual is useful to the novice as well as an experienced walker. Always good to know even in the days of gps.

Cons

Came with a big ugly crease on the front cover. Really awful pumped up army loving dude grates in you.
