This lantern is much brighter than any other battery powered lantern i have ever used. Perfect for lighting dark pathways, rooms, for power outages. We used 2 of them to light rooms during a power outage.

It's very sturdy. Appears to be quite sturdy. Like so many items now, the market is flooded with options. We know they will do a great job filling that need.

Putting the battery cover back on is a little tricky. Add three d cells, screw the bottom back on and hit the button. The only thing i would change is perhaps the flash mode option should be a 2nd button. That seems to be the only flaw.

Recommend use on a shepherds hook. I guess the newer technology allows these types of lanterns to be made smaller while putting out a good amount of light. Bought this when a hurricane was coming and there were none locally.

Power is out today and depending on this piece of garbage was a mistake. I was disappointed with the quality of the product.
