Pros
The coating is quite thick there is no signs of cracks at the extremities. Awesome colour too means it stands out from all other cables. Bright blue will definitely prevents it from missing. Seems tough too.
The connection is nice and secure (better than my original belkin cable) does exactly what it says on the tin.
Cons
The b connector end does not sit fluch to the casing of the hhd drive enclosure. It is less than 30cm, which means my hard drive has to rest on the edge of the desktop in order work.

I am very pleased with the item as it works perfectly , no difference noticeable to the original one.

I only use the external hd a few time a year and therefore it doesnt need to be that robust

The colour is bright blue so it wont get lost in a sea of black cables i have like the last one

I bought this to connect my seagate hard drive to my television the lead supplied was far too short for the purpose

As this cable is robust theres not much flex to it hence you have to be careful whilst its in use not to touch tap of brush the cable as a result it will send the product that its plugged into skating across the surface or worst damage the female usb port that you plug it into

If youre the sort to constantly unplug and plug again it might not hold up as with all moulded connectors the weakness would be the strain relief or lack thereof
