Pros
It's not a gaming monster, but it can still play real games at 720p and medium settings with a playable (30+) frame rate. Great for media, backup, and also light gaming.
Quite noisy at start up, but settles down to running quietly almost immediately. Fan is as quiet as advertised. Small form factor is easy to tuck away if that bothers you.
Switching out the ssd would not be easy. I am a system admin for large corporation and i needed a new nas drive as my old one was aging.

Comes in a nice box with hdmi and mino * cables. Comes with a handy vesa mount and an adapter. Has one * and one hdmi for multiple monitor connections, audio jack, 2 ethernet and wifi, four usb 3.
Cons
Never seen this problem in over 25 yrs building pcs. The customer response from the company is non existent. This is the second amazon computer in two weeks that did not work as described.

Wish it was in the x300 case but i am happy none the less with the new design.
Shipping
Several of the boxes corners were rounded, so it definitely saw some action during shipping.
Now all that aside this is a fast quite pc with alot of features.
Packaging/appearance
Despite the lack of packaging, i’ve had it for less than a day, has booted up and otherwise appears to be working just fine.
It starts up right out of the box (i bought it with a disk and memory pre-installed) and has never once had an issue since.
Competitiveness
This unit replaces a competitor i purchased merely two years ago.
I’d say it’s a great value compared to other devices in the $500ish price range.
The fan is also noisy when compared to hx90.

Amazon delivered it in a thin plastic nonprotective mailer so the unit was only protected by its oem box and internal foam

For the large triangular pads simply peel back the corners until you can see the screw head no need to remove the whole piece and reglue

Take a careful note of the orientation of the cover once removed as it is perfectly square and could easily be incorrectly replaced 90 degrees out which will cause some issues with a snug fit once the secondary drive is in place

Be careful installing the flimsy ssd connector to the main system header make sure you have good light so you can see clearly

I didnt need to replace my large tower pc on my work desk but then one of the pcs in our media center at the church failed and needs to be replaced and no money in the budget for it

I dont play that many games and the ones i do dont have heavy graphics demands although this is listed as being a moderate gaming pc
