Pros
The only ding i have with the gauntlet 1 and the gauntlet 2 is their inability to maintain consistent accuracy given it's long floating barrel design. It has a bit more power, and is considerably more reasonably priced so it's easy tradeoff.
First shots with 15. Fps over 10 rounds.
This is my go to * air rifle and believe me it is powerful and accurate. Not sure what kind of problem some of the reviewers is going through but by far it is totally my best.
The trigger on the marauder is significantly more refined, but i have yet to try and adjust it. The cocking lever is stiff, but loosens up with cycle use. Gun is not heavy and trigger pull is excellent!

Accurate as hell, bolt cycles smoothly with the new knurled handle.
My new gauntlet 2 arrived and i was very disappointed to see that their manufacturing quality had not improved.
Build quality is adequate, but i wouldn't take this out in the field much.
Price
For the price you can't beat it.
Packaging/appearance
Its a little hard to cock or insert the lead pellets, the havier the pellet the harder to load.

This umarex gauntlet 2 is as good or better than the reviews.

This is the hard bit with pcps as the gun itself is relatively easy youre not going to get by with just a hand pump
