It's still in excellent condition, no damp or rot or anything like that. Very attractive item and well packaged. Really nice and sturdy.

The book stand holds a standard paperback or hardback well. The only downside for us is that it needs a perspex wedge to slot into the ridges in front of where you'd rest your book.

Cons

The back rest of the caddy struggles supporting an ipad so it bends back, making it be in an angle very difficult to read.
