Also the instruction says that you have to secure a supporting bracket with screwers to the ceiling near the center of the rod and that is not what i expected from a strong tension rod considering that the seller advertises hang curtains no drilling or holes required in the product description

It came with a slight bend in the bar perhaps someone hanged a heavy item on it that caused the rod to sag and fall before returning it

I tried shower rods instead miserable failure and juryrigging curtain rod holders with scotch extreme fasteners it worked until it didnt and now i have to patches of drywall to repair
